The pancake soup sounds kind of strange but wow was it amazing!! I ordered the blood sausage entree and it was… different. I thought it was going to come out as a sausage but it was presented as more like a corned beef hash. It was interestingly tasty but I wouldn’t order it again. The sauerkraut was good! Food came out fairly fast. Waiter was nice but he could have been more welcoming.
Home made food that warms the soul on a cold and non-stop rainy late afternoon stroll in the wonderful Innsbruck Christmas markets. More than enough to share with our 3 y.o. boy a healthy meal.
Good traditional food, quick and friendly service, fair prices, close to main attractions in the centre.
If I could, I would give zero stars. It looked like there were mainly locals so we trusted this place. Also read about it online.
I ordered chicken cordon bleu and after I started eating it I realised it wasn’t cooked and in the middle it was actually completely raw!!! So I sent back more than half of it! I didn’t notice it earlier as I thought it was the ham. Disgusting!!!! I’m hoping I will not get sick, I’m thinking of reporting this place because it is not acceptable!
And then when we asked the bill thinking as any good restaurant does they will not charge for it, the waiter was charging for it!!!! We had to request to speak to someone else and raise our voices to have it removed from the bill.
Stay away from this disgusting place, bad food and bad service. Must be the worse place I have ever been!
Great beer, great dinner! I had the schnitzel with potato salad (loved the vinegar!) even the cranberry sauce was excellent! I also had the Tyrolean Natural beer. Server was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Great experience
Food was very nice. Waiter was a bell end and didn't help at all
If I could give 10 stars I would! Dieses Essen hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen! The place feels homey and comfortable, with super friendly and helpful wait-staff. With the a comfortable setting, other guests appear relaxed and at home, staying, like me, for an extended period of time. Despite being fairly busy on a Wednesday evening in the off-season, the food came out without delay, served hot and fresh. I would recommended this place a hundred times over!
Visited but it was fully booked. So we opted for take away instead. Ordered the Grostl and Knodelsuppe. Love Grostl, not a fan of Knodelsuppe as it was too salty for us
